Romans 3:23-25
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—
God is the creator of all things and all people. There is no distinction or partiality towards the people of this world. All have sinned, were born into sin, and all have fallen short. But through Jesus, we are saved and born again a new child of the kingdom of God. Jesus loves you and me the same, without partiality. The Road to Salvation is not a ceremony or initiation, but a transformation of your heart, mind, and soul.
Romans 6:23a
For the wages of sin is death,
The Bible tells us and teaches us about sin. What sin is and how to try and live away from our sin. Our words, actions, our decisions affect our lives and impact where our souls go for eternity.
Do you struggle with making the right decisions, or feel like you aren't sure which way to go? We all struggle with the things our minds come up with out of the blue sometimes. It's natural for all of us, but easier when you have the Holy Spirit of God guiding you and helping you. Sin is hard to avoid as long as we live in a fallen world. Christians sin all the time. The difference is we don't like to sin, we know we fail when we do, but God tells us if we come to him through Jesus we will be forgiven. We aren't sinless, we are forgiven through repentance and try our best not to sin.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Can you imagine sending your only son to die for humanity? That is what God 'really' did! Just like this verse states, HE demonstrated His own love toward us, towards you. God is trying to tell us, that we are so valuable to Him, that he gave up his only son so that we could be free 'forever'. Jesus was the only perfect man to walk the earth. He devoted his entire life to helping, healing, and teaching others. He laid down his life so we could use him as OUR sacrifice to God and be saved from final death in sin. It was His blood that covers up sin and defeated death.
Romans 6:23b
“But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
So, the gift of God that resulted from Jesus Christ dying on a cross, is eternal life in the Kingdom of God. Not only that but we are considered 'children' of God, heirs in His kingdom that God wants to share with us. Not just later in heaven but right now, right here. There is another gift, one that you receive freely inside of you called the "Holy Spirit" and He will help you and guide you everyday to be free.
Romans 10:9-13
9 Because if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and in your heart you have faith that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 Trusting with the heart leads to righteousness, and confessing with the mouth leads to salvation.
11 The scripture says, All who have faith in him won't be put to shame.
12 There is no distinction between Jew and Greek, because the same Lord is Lord of all, who gives richly to all who call on him.
13 All who call on the Lord's name will be saved.
Will you accept Jesus? Will you confess with your mouth and in your heart have faith that God raised Jesus from the dead? Then you 'will' be saved
John 3:16-17
16 God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him won't perish but will have eternal life.
17 God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
John 3:16 is probably one of the most recognized verses from the Bible. But it is also one of the most powerful and wonderful as well. It speaks to us about the Love of God, the sacrifice of Jesus for us, and if 'we' believe with all our heart, we will not perish but have eternal life. Christianity religion is not a gathering together, but a meeting face to face with our Saviour Jesus Christ. Jesus died for you, he knew you before you were born.
If you would like to receive Jesus you can say this simple prayer and ask Him into Your Life.
Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and in need of salvation. I believe that You came to earth to seek and to save people who are lost in their sins, and I believe that You died on the cross as the substitute for my sins.
I believe that You took the punishment that I deserved for the sins that I have committed, and forgave me all my sins. I believe that You died for me and that You rose again from the dead, and that whoever believes in You will not perish but have everlasting life.
I trust in You and I place my faith in You. Thank You for dying for me, forgiving my sins, making me clean and covering me in Your own perfect righteousness. Thank You for all that You have done for me.
I receive You into my life as my Saviour and I choose to follow You and serve You all my life. Thank You for hearing my prayer, Amen.
